The company usually focused on organic chemistry is looking strongly to optimize organic synthesis through the use of enzymes. In this context Dr. Elisa Beneventi was contracted this year, through the European Marie Curie grant: HOTDROPS project. Elisa is in charge of defining the industrial value of new thermophilic enzymes. She will give a short talk at this conference based on the exploration of the biocatalytic potential of the recombinant esterase KLEST-3S from Thermus thermophilus HB27.
