Deltamethrin is one of the most popular insecticides in the world. A member of one of the safest classes of pesticides, pyrethroids, it is sold as a single enantiomer, the (1R,3R,alpha-S). However, for regulatory purposes the content of the other 7 diastereomers in the formulation must be checked.
After some months of internal R&D, GalChimia can now offer standards of all the Deltamethrin isomers, including the enantiomer, the nitrile epimer and the trans isomers (both as single compounds and mixture). This will be of interest to agrochemical sponsors and analytical labs involved in registration of this and other pyrethroids.
